RAILS and Tales 2017: Tribute to the Pioneers

June 30 to July 3 in Big Valley Alberta

In conjunction with Alberta Prairie Railway train trips, Rails and Tales will be presenting an exposition of vintage agricultural equipment. It will include full size steam, gas and oil powered equipment. Displays of double flywheel hit and miss gasoline engines and smaller equipment will also be operational. All of the equipment will be operated by volunteers. The equipment is from personal collections and heritage preservation groups. Come chat with them about their experiences preserving Alberta history.

Bring your family and enjoy a day of steam trains and working historical agriculture equipment.

This event is being planned as a celebration of Canada’s history and the influence the railway played in it. Train Tickets will be available starting mid February 2017 by contacting Alberta Prairie Railway in Stettler, AB at 403-742-2811
